Crypto markets were looking tired earlier this morning, with Ethereum quickly approaching $1100 until CZ tweeted in the Asia-afternoon and declared he’s working on a relief fund to try and regain trust in exchanges. This was good enough to carry Ethereum back up to $1250, +1% in 24hrs. Bitcoin remains flat at $16590. Crypto.com’s CRO token pops +14% to give it a $2B market cap, although it's still down -37% over the past 7 days. FUD still circulates, though it is less pronounced after the weekend ended. Although newsflow is slower, we’re still not in the clear.
NFT volumes don’t look overly changed day-over-day, with the total still hanging around $10M with ETH-NFTs taking 80%+ of the volumes. Bored Apes remain heavily traded with a turnover of $1.3M, as its floor price drops below 60 ETH and looks to be approaching 50 ETH as the best bid sits at 52.7 ETH on OpenSea. Mutant Apes are taking a beating as well, with the best bid sitting at 9.25 ETH now and the average price down -8.5% on the day. Otherside has relaxed its drop but still remains under 1 ETH. Other Blue-Chip NFT collections also taking hits, such as Doodles average price down -22%, MeeBits down -11%, BAKC down -8%, and Cool Cats down -19%.
