Crypto markets are quiet as the year wraps up. Bitcoin is flat at $16.8k on $14B of turnover, and Ethereum is $1217 on $3.5B of turnover. Defrost Finance was happy to announce $12M has returned to the protocol after yesterday’s ‘hack’ — it's still not clear if it was an attempted rug pull, but it should come to light soon as on-chain detectives do their work. Fidelity has applied for a trademark for an NFT marketplace and crypto trading services. Rolls Royce has dropped an NFT for their latest Phantom series ‘The Six Elements’, which was revealed at a private event in Dubai.

NFT volumes are back above $20M, with ETH-NFTs at $18M and Solana-NFTs at $4M. BAYC is on top with $3.1M in turnover, while Otherdeed comes after with $1.3M across 450+ trades. ETH Gobblers comes out of nowhere and trends to post up $1.3M in volume. Pudgy Penguins and Azuki each have $1.2M in turnover on the day.
