Crypto markets are a bit softer to start the week. Bitcoin is off -1% to $17k, while Ethereum is -2% to $1250. Binance is now the target of US prosecutors, as Reuters reports prosecutors are considering criminal charges against the crypto exchange and individual executives, including CZ. Just a heads up, the Tron-based stablecoin USDD is now at 979 cents and touched 97 cents earlier in the day — the lowest it’s ever de-pegged to.
NFT volumes are at $16M, with ETH-NFTs at $13.5M and Solana-NFTs at $1.5M. MAYC and BAYC have $4M collectively, across 140 trades. Valhalla has a $2M turnover with 1560 trades. Sandbox makes a surprising appearance of $1.3M as the hype around their new land offerings circulates on Twitter.
